EGMHA day at the Newmarket Hurricanes

hof_0002Our Association was honoured at the Newmarket Hurricanes game on Sunday and presented with a plaque to help celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Hurricanes gave the EGMHA free entry to anyone wearing Eagles attire, plus an additional 1,600 tickets for our association to distribute among friends and family.

The tyke division had a short game between the first and second periods where the kids enjoyed an aggressive battle for 6 straight minutes. All the kids were on the ice simultaneously, so the competition was intense. It's hard to believe that many of these kids didn't know how to skate back in the fall!hof_0001
